Funke Akindele is set to take another major step in her filmmaking journey as her upcoming movie, THE FOUR: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE, prepares for its UK premiere at the prestigious ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London on November 29, 2026.
Presented by Funke Akindele Network and FilmOne Entertainment, the premiere is being celebrated as a historic moment for Nollywood, with the film set to become the first Nollywood title to premiere at the iconic London cinema.
Located at 24-26 Leicester Square, ODEON Luxe Leicester Square is one of London’s most recognisable cinema destinations, renowned for hosting major international film premieres and high-profile entertainment events.
The upcoming premiere will also receive support from Facebook through a partnership covering the London and Lagos premiere events, with Funke Akindele and associated accounts already building anticipation through promotional videos featuring members of the cast and scenes from London.
THE FOUR: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE is a drama centred on friendship, motherhood, resilience and loyalty. The film features an ensemble cast led by Funke Akindele, alongside Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Lateef Adedimeji and singer Shoday, among others.
Following its London premiere, the film is scheduled to arrive in UK cinemas on December 4, while its Nigerian theatrical release is set for December 11, 2026.
The upcoming premiere adds to Funke Akindele’s continued efforts to expand the reach of Nigerian storytelling, placing another Nollywood production on an internationally recognised cinema stage.
