Arsenal F.C. Crowned Premier League Champions After 22-Year Wait

Arsenal F.C. have officially been crowned Premier League champions, bringing an end to the club’s 22-year wait for England’s top flight title and marking a historic moment for both the team and its fans.

The North London side secured the 2025/26 Premier League crown after rivals Manchester City F.C. dropped points in a 1-1 draw against A.F.C. Bournemouth, leaving Arsenal with an uncatchable lead at the top of the table.

Led by manager Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have now claimed their first league title since the iconic “Invincibles” campaign of 2003/04 under club legend Arsène Wenger. The triumph also delivers the club’s 14th English league title overall.

After coming close in recent seasons, Arsenal finally completed their rise back to the summit with a campaign built on consistency, discipline, and standout performances from key players including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard, and William Saliba.

A key moment of the season came shortly after Arsenal’s narrow victory over Burnley, a result that piled pressure on Manchester City in their clash with Bournemouth. Despite a late equaliser from Erling Haaland, City failed to secure the win needed to keep the title race alive.

Scenes of celebration erupted across the Emirates Stadium and among Arsenal supporters worldwide as fans celebrated the club’s long-awaited return to the top of English football.

Attention now turns to Europe, with Arsenal still chasing a historic double as they prepare for the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain F.C. later this month.
