Tyson Fury Marks Comeback with Wide Unanimous Decision Victory Over Arslanbek Makhmudov

Tyson Fury marked his return to the ring with a dominant performance, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov via unanimous decision in a 12-round heavyweight contest.

The judges scored the bout widely in Tyson Fury’s favor, with tallies of 120–108, 120–108, and 119–109, a one-sided fight in which the former world champion controlled the tempo from start to finish.

From the opening bell, Tyson Fury relied on his trademark movement, sharp jab, and ring intelligence to neutralize Makhmudov’s early aggression. While Makhmudov pressed forward and looked to impose his power in the initial rounds, Tyson Fury’s defensive awareness and clinch work quickly disrupted any sustained offense.

As the fight progressed, Tyson Fury settled into a rhythm, dictating distance and landing clean, consistent shots. By the middle rounds, the bout had become a technical showcase, with Fury outboxing his opponent and limiting exchanges to his own advantage.

Makhmudov, known for his knockout power, struggled to maintain his output against Fury’s control and began to rest back in the later rounds. Despite his efforts to close the gap, he was unable to significantly trouble the British heavyweight across the 12-round distance.

The victory marks an important moment for Tyson Fury, who entered the fight looking to reassert himself following consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. While he had predicted a knockout ahead of the bout, the performance instead highlighted his technical discipline and ring IQ.

With this win, renewed discussions likely around potential high-profile matchups including a long-anticipated clash with Anthony Joshua is the next possible thing.
